Summary
I worked as the lead level designer for our capstone project: Alice in Public Domain. I was also responsible for the set dressing and lighting while assisting in other various areas such as VFX and modelling.
This was a fun, complex project to work on due to the nature of giant glowing mushrooms and unique shrinking mechanics. Working on this project involved plenty of problem solving which taught me a lot about both level design and set dressing.

Summary
Based on the Auto-Ordance manufactured Tommy Gun which was widely used by the United States and Great Britain in World War II.
In 2022, I took a war museum trip with my family to France, travelling from Saint-Malo to Amsterdam. Along the way, we visited numerous museums and historical sites. Seeing the history I grew up learning about up close and in person inspired me to model this Thompson SMG.
Since this was one of the first guns I attempted to make, I decided on the Thompson because of the simple blocky shapes throughout the receiver, barrel, and magazine. I highly recommend trying to create one of these for anyone getting into modelling.

Since 2022, I’ve been learning Japanese on and off, hoping to visit Japan one day. To immerse myself more, I started watching anime and eventually came across Mushoku Tensei. The show’s world and magic system drew me in, and I was inspired to model Rudeus’s staff as a way to bring a piece of it to life.
While the head of the staff is very unique, I wanted to be more creative with the handle by adding a guard around the neck and changing the end piece.
